Killian watches all the footage of Glyndon from the hunt but isn’t sure who invited her to join. He’s also uncertain about an arrow that nearly grazed him during the hunt and can’t see who shot it on any of the cameras. In a class the next morning, he receives a text from his mother and thinks about the time he heard his father say he was defective and that they should have only had Gareth. Afterward, he goes to the REU campus, where he sees Glyndon sitting with another man. Killian sits beside her, claiming he’s her boyfriend and scaring the other man away. Glyndon is outraged but calms down when she sees that Killian prepared her a healthy lunch after rightly guessing that she wasn’t taking care of herself physically. Killian insists that they see each other that night since they’re dating and gives Glyndon the choice of a quiet night at home or a party Nikolai is throwing.
